India gold seen at new high, copper steady

 India gold futures are likely to hit a record high in early trades on Wednesday tracking firm overseas markets and expectations of a weaker rupee, analysts said.

The most-active December gold contract MAUZ0 on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) last closed at 20,538 rupees per 10 grams, up 0.7 percent, after hitting a record high of 20,624 rupees.
