GoldCore Appoints Leading Finance Expert Gurdgiev to Investment Committee

GoldCore, the rapidly growing Dublin based wealth manager, has appointed Dr. Constantin Gurdgiev as a non-executive member on the company's investment committee.
Dr Gurdgiev is one of the leading financial economists in Ireland and respected internationally. He brings further financial economics expertise to the investment committee that already makes use of research from leading international economists.
Commenting on his appointment Dr Gurdgiev said, “GoldCore understands the importance of global diversification across many assets – as evidenced by the company's globally diversified portfolios of index funds.”

Marc is one of the most highly qualified financial planners in Ireland.
He has worked as an independent financial planning consultant since 1994. He is a specialist in portfolio management, pensions and tax and estate planning. He moved to Ireland from the UK and joined GoldCore in January 2008.
Marc has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Politics and American Studies from the University of Leeds and Pennsylvania State Universities. He is a Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (www.cii.co.uk) and Personal Finance Society in the UK having been awarded the Diploma in Financial Planning, as well as a member of the Life Insurance Association in Ireland holding the QFA diploma.
Marc is also a member of the prestigious Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. (www.step.ie) and works closely with Estate Planning Lawyers in Ireland to assist clients in managing their wealth transfer to the next generation.
Finally, Marc was recently awarded a first class honours in the post-graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the Institute of Bankers/UCD.

Dr. Constantin Gurdgiev is the forthcoming Head of Research and Strategy for St. Columbanus IA, and the Adjunct Lecturer in Finance with Trinity College, Dublin.
In the past, Dr Gurdgiev served as the Group Editor and Director of Business & Finance Publications, Director of Research with NCB Stockbrokers, Ltd., Head of Macroeconomics with the Institute for Business Value, IBM and a Special Adviser to the Irish Exporters Association.
Born in Moscow, Russia, Dr Gurdgiev was educated in the University of California, Los Angeles, University of Chicago, Johns Hopkins University and Trinity College, Dublin. He currently serves as a Visiting Professor of Finance with the Russian State University and the Chairman of Ireland Russia Business Association. He frequently contributes to Irish and international press.
