The Mexican Silver Libertad
In 1949 Mexico released its first one ounce Silver Bullion Coin named the Silver Libertad. Though the production of this coin was discontinued for a long duration, fabrication was resumed in 1978 and continues to this day. This widely admired bullion coin alters its form and pattern every year to attract the collectors and to compete with other bullion coins. This wonderful fabrication enhances the coin collectors' portfolio, and makes a good investment for the investor. The Libertad is Mexico's treasure coin and is minted at Casa de Moneda de Mexico, which was established in 1536 and is the oldest Mint in North America. These magnificent BU .999 fine 1 oz Silver bullion coins are very popular with collectors. The obverse features the Independence Angel against a backdrop of the "Lovers' Peaks" twin volcanoes. The reverse carries the national seal of Mexico surrounded by previous seals used during Mexico's history. Please email our Sales Team
