Gold may climb for a third day as concerns that a Greek aid package will stem the nation’s debt crisis prompt investors to seek a refuge. Platinum rose to the highest level since August, 2008.

Immediate-delivery bullion was up 0.1 percent at $1,148.35 an ounce at 1:45 p.m. Singapore time. The 16-nation euro traded near a two-week low against the dollar on speculation that talks on a 45 billion-euro ($60 billion) aid package for Greece may face hurdles.
