Gold Falls Tad In Asia; Holiday-Thinned Trade
26 November 2010 Wall Street Journal
Gold vacillated in thin holiday trade Friday, falling marginally but staying within the $15.20 band it has occupied since North Korea's shelling of a South Korean island Tuesday sparked a fresh rally in the metal.
Traders in Asia said that volumes were low due to the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. At 0520 GMT, spot gold was at $1,372 a troy ounce, down $3.10, or 0.2%, against its late New York price.
